You talk, it types?

Have you ever used voice-recognition software? Maybe dictation software; or a game that responds to voice commands; or your phone; or one of those awful, automated, self-“service” phone numbers some companies are using now. None of them work! They dial the wrong person. When you say “help,” they say “thank you for your call” and hang up. They type “dear bomb” when you say “dear Mom.” I’ve strained my patience and my voice talking to these damn things.

Consider this, if you plan to have offspring: children are sometimes like dictation software that you have to train for years but still doesn’t listen to you.
