The rain has cleared

I rode the bike yesterday for the first time in weeks. And for the first time in weeks I was virtually stress-free all day. Normally I ride almost daily, but with all the rain it has been impossible. Riding a motorcycle really focuses your attention (if you do it correctly) because an accident on a bike is much more serious than a similar accident in a car (usually). And there’s also a wonderful sense of freedom and these things together make stress just… disappear.

If it’s been a couple of years now as with me, I think it is time to get our bikes running and cleaned up for the summer, and enjoy a few more years. Actually, lately I do think about adding a side-car for her often (I think riding with her would be fine soon, but the other half would probably dissagree). And, just for fun and fantasizing, I keep dropping hints about future family enduros.
