Review: V for Vendetta

Quite good. Surprisingly good, actually, considering I don’t expect very much from comic book translations (There were so many disappointments. Batman 2 through whatever, Elektra, Tank Girl, Daredevil, Cat Woman, The Hulk—the list goes on.). With the exception of one gratuitous scene near the end, it barely earns its “R” rating. V himself (Hugo Weaving) is pretentious but very likable. Awesome ending, especially I imagine, if you’re British. V for Vendetta (Netflix)

But I must admit… In Daredevil and in Elektra, I was highly impressed with Ms. Garner with those sais. Apparently, fit women aren’t enough all the time, they must be wielding some time of fast paced ninja weapon.
