The Boy has been living life with gusto. The wake of destruction caused by his gusto is of little consequence compared to the joy I feel knowing he’s happy. Last night at dinner he fell asleep just as he finished his tuna sandwich. He struggled against sleep for the last bite and then passed out in his chair, victorious. It was a full day and he didn’t slow down once from the moment he jumped on us in bed at 6am until he passed out at 7pm with small bits of tuna in his lap. What a stud. That, friends, is living life to the fullest and I’m more than a little envious.
