The Flickr photoblog (and blog) of a family who’s boy Eric was born premature. Little Eric has had to endure being connected to machines, feeding tubes, ventilators, being poked, and prodded. There have been a slew of scary moments: alarms ringing in the intensive care unit, trouble breathing, infections. Yesterday, they found out he has pneumonia.

But through it all, there’s a sense of hope. You can feel it when he reaches for his feeding tube, when he has a tantrum, when he holds his mom’s finger. Eric wants to live.
