Fridays are lonely on the internets...

First of all, I’m not addicted to the internet—it’s my job. But I’m probably online over 12 hours per day, every day. When you’re online that much, you become accustomed to the rhythms and cycles of the internet just like you do the rhythms of any other “workplace.” When I worked in an office, Fridays were often hectic. I was always trying to finish off everything that needed to be done that week.

But the internet… it feels like the whole thing goes into slow motion on Fridays. Activity on social sites like Flickr slows down. Blogs get fewer comments. There’s less news.

I don’t really have a point. I guess I’m just saying, “My day? It’s been quiet.”

It makes it kind of depressing when thats all you’re doing instead of being one of those people who are outside doing stuff other than browsing the Internets. Also, I wanted to let you know I like the new theme for your website! Really cheerful and upbeat. Very nice.
