Fido
Lovely and Talented Wife: What's that?
Me: Oh, it's a DVD your sister sent us. I wrote her back and thanked her but said we hadn't watched it yet.
Wife: It looks... interesting.
Me: Yah, I told her I was a little scared of it. She said she was, too---that's why she sent it.
Wife: A boy-and-his-dog movie for grown ups, huh?
Me: It looks bad. Carrie-Anne moss is in it though.
Wife: You don't even know who...
Me: Trinity.
Wife: What?
Me: She's Trinity. From The Matrix.
Wife: Oh, that's right.
Me: Every geek in the world knows that.
Wife: Of course they do.
Also on the list of actresses every geek knows (or you have to turn in your card):
- Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia (Star Wars: A New Hope)
- Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo (Kill Bill; also accepted as Venus, Mia, Poison Ivy, or Emma)
- Cate Blanchett as Galadriel (The Lord of the Rings)
- Liv Tyler as Arwen (The Lord of the Rings)
- Kirstie Alley as Saavik (The Wrath of Khan)
- Angelina Jolie as Acid Burn (Hackers)
- Summer Glau as River (Serenity)
- Daryl Hannah as Pris (Bladerunner)
