My wife and daughter had an interesting conversation Sunday. Being the stupendous father that I am, I decided to take the fam to Disney’s California Adventure on Father’s day. I owed my son a trip since he had been sick on his birthday. I also suspected (correctly) that there wouldn’t be any crowds that day. And I predicted (again correctly) that a good time would be had by all and there would be much rejoicing among the little people in the house. A perfect alignment.

That evening, as we were leaving, my spouse asked my daughter a question:

Wife: "Aren't you glad Dad took you to California Adventure on Father's day?"
Daughter: "It's still Father's day?"
Wife: "Yep, it's Father's day all day today."
(pause)
Daughter: "When's Kid's day?"

Children are grand. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
