I know I ordered this Christmas gift at the last minute. And the company I ordered it from only handed the package to you yesterday. And I know a lot can happen in the 2,200 miles between here and Michigan. And I know an ice storm is about to hit the Midwest. And I know sometimes trucks break down and that your company is staffed by regular old human beings not super robots.

I know you’re trying your very best to deliver it by the 23rd.

And I’m trying my very best to teach my children not to pin their self-worth on the size or quantity of gifts they receive this holiday season.

But please, please, please. You’ve got it now. It’s in your hands.
