Batdad

Protesting for father’s rights dressed as Batman may not be the best way to convince a judge that you are fit to raise kids (via Digital Dad). And it isn’t the first time either. They’ve done this at a Labor Party conference and closed the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Their news site has information about a lot of their protests.

A man with Father’s 4 Justice who commandeered a 120-foot tall construction crane in September 2003 said, “I just want to be able to share my daughter’s life. There’s no reason why I shouldn’t.”

Well, I can think of one. I can imagine the lengths I might go to if I were not allowed to see my daughter anymore. But you’ve got to wonder if there’s a good reason why a person who would pull this kind of stunt would be prohibited from seeing his kids. Is he a nut because he lost his kids or did he lose his kids because he’s a nut?

I might do some crazy things if I were in that situation but I fail to see how wearing tights could possibly help.
