Ariel was a tech geek

Me, singing: Look at this stuff / Isn't it neat? / Wouldn't you think my collection's complete? / Wouldn't you think I'm the girl / The girl who has everything? / Looking around here you think / Sure, she's got everything / I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty / I've got whozits and whatzits galore / You want thingamabobs? / I got twenty! / But who cares? / No big deal / I want MOOOOOORE!
Daughter: Great. Now my ear drums are broken.
Me: Sorry, kiddo. When I'm in a good mood sometimes innocent people suffer.
Son: What's "suffer" mean?
Me: It means Daddy is singing.
No doubt Ariel was the first mermaid on her block with an iPhone.
