A little blog housekeeping...

Just a quick note to let you know about some minorish changes to the blog. I’ve added a new section called Asides which you can get to from the link on the menu at the top of the page. That section contains an overview of my recent online and offline activity. “Feed Clips” are blog posts I’ve read recently that I thought were interesting. “What I’m Doing” is a list of recent Twitter updates. “Bookmarks” is my feed from Del.icio.us where I keep all of my bookmarks. And my Flickr photos.

A few items from each of those are also on the sidebar but you’ll find more on the Asides page.

You may have noticed that I’ve removed the blogroll. I’m still a little torn on that decision. I like every blog that was on that list and I’ve got them in my feed reader. But the list itself was static and tedious to update and I prefer something that more accurately reflects the breadth of what I’m reading rather than just showing the same dozen sites all the time. So, the idea is that Feed Clips replaces the blogroll. I think it delivers on the intent of the old blogroll and it automatically refreshes as I share interesting items I’ve read in Google Reader.

That’s all. Thanks for reading.
