Review: The Good Shepherd

May 16th, 2007

An interesting examination of Edward Wilson’s (Matt Damon) life and the role he played in the origins of the CIA. Closer to 10 on the realism scale than I’d like. It’s a mumble movie and Matt Damon, although he’s the star, has about two lines—we had to watch it with the subtitles on. I thought it was okay but the lovely and talented wife didn’t like it as much and was totally unsympathetic to Angelina Jolie’s character. You could rent it—or just catch it when it airs on the History channel. Not for everyone.
