So my wife was addressing a group of young girls (teenagers) in a ballet class to try and teach them how to not just dance but to perform their parts. That is, to act and display the emotions of the character they are dancing rather than just doing the steps. At one point she suggested that if they are about to do a scene where they should be smiling and happy that they should think of something funny or a joke. To help them out, she started telling a joke. “What’s Bruce Lee’s favorite drink?” she asked. And they all asked (this is not the punchline), “Who’s Bruce Lee?”
Who is Buce Lee. She was momentarily flabbergasted, and should have given up then, but instead she made a desperate comparison to Jackie Chan just so these fetuses could understand the joke.
