Of zucchinis and hypothermia

Me: Looks like it rained last night.
Daughter: Oooh! No playing outside today.
Me: Nope, not unless you want to get wet and cold.
Daughter: If you get too cold you could get sick.
Me: That’s true. If you get too cold all kinds of bad things could happen.
Daughter: You could die?
Me: If you got too cold you could die.
Daughter: So it would be bad to be in a zucchini on a mountain.
*blink* *blink*
Me: In a what?
Daughter: In a zucchini.
Me: That’s what I thought you said. What’s a zucchini?
Daughter: A girl’s swim suit.
Me: Ah. Bikini. That’s a bikini.
Daughter: Oh.
Me: Do you know what a zucchini is?
Daughter: Um… No.
