JCap - Download

JCap runs on many different operating systems. This is possible because JCap was written using a language called Java. In order to use JCap, you might need to download and install a "Java Runtime Environment" (JRE) first. A JRE enables you to run many Java applications including JCap.

JCap requires Java version 1.4 or higher. If you have not installed Java or you are not sure then you will need to download it. Java is a small download, free to use, and installs itself quickly and easily. Go to www.java.com to find out more about Java and to download the latest JRE (or to java.sun.com). Alternatively, for Windows users, you can download a version of JCap, below, that includes the latest Java Runtime Environment.
