Me: So how much was the pregnancy test? $15? $20?
Wife: Only $6. For two.
Me: For two? Wow, good deal. I guess we have teen pregnancy to thank for that.

    Not to spook you, but I had three of those suckers come back negative, when I KNEW I was pregnant ! Eight months later my daughter entered the world. They are after all, only 99.97% accurate (or so). SOMEbody has to make up that .03%. Again - I’m not trying to scare you.

    And where is your wife shopping that she gets two for $6 ?! Last time I got the 2-pack it cost twice that !

    I bought a hpt at the store for about $12 or so & took the test & it was negative. Whew! But then ordinary smells were getting to me really bad & I have had PMS symptoms that just kept building up but no period. So I wanted to wait a week & test again but I wasn’t going to buy any more from the store at that price. I bought them online for $2.25 each & I bought 7 so I can have free shipping (free shipping if I spent at least $14.95) ;). Well, the moment I received them I took a test right away & lo & behold, got a positive result. So now…we’re expecting our 3rd baby….and I have 6 hpt to spare…

    I hate to agree with Laura…but if it was reliable, why would you need two???

    Hey man… long time reader, first time commenter (had to get that out of the way)

    Anyways… the last time that happened I think I didn’t breathe for the duration of the test. The wife went in, I stopped breathing and almost fell over when she came back and said it was negative.

    Wow! That is cheap — I think we paid about $20 for our last one (which came back positive and we were happy about it.)

    I dunno…the whole time my wife was pregnant, the HPT kept coming up negative on me too. Weird.
