Yeah... I just can't watch Battlestar... too much soap opera, not enough action, and I prefer my Cylons metallic, implacable, and not in the least interested in love, children, or philosophy.

They should look to Firefly or Enterprise to see how to balance character development, action, and a continuous storyline. Especially Firefly.

Of course, the nature of the public being what it is, both of *those* are discontinued and Battlestar trudges on... Luckily, I spend more time reading than watching TV anyway.

That's because love triangle special effects are REALLY cheap.

Plus, the show's called a space opera for a reason. ;)

I watched the Wedding Anniversary episode. Even the exciting parts seemed a little tacked-on.

(I haven't seen any of the rest of Season 3, but I sure hope it's more exciting that watching Adama and his ghost wife.)

I agree wholeheartedly. Beyond the story arc simply being boring, though, does it seem to you that alot of relationships on the show have come, gotten intense and then evaporated in really short time periods?

I want to see things explode and I want to know who the other 5 cylons are.

Here here! Stick with the hot Cylon-on-Baltar action. Now that's interesting!
