Isn't this one of those fine moments when you realize that you've become an adult? You know, when you're a kid, you swear that you'll never be like your parents, you'll always know what it's like to "like kid things" and then you wake up and you ask yourself, "Why are birthday parties such a big deal?" This is classic stuff.

Forgot to say that you can't ever expect them to think DAD is funny. They may laugh at you but usually because they think you're so lame. Just don't want you to get your feelings hurt! ;)

Hahaha! Well I think it's funny. A little bit of sarcasm will toughen them up for the REAL teasing that starts around middle school. Being able to laugh at yourself is the best defense anyway. They gotta get a sense of humor just to survive being alive!
